Happy Birthday Mom...I love You, your Angel Jonna
" We Love You Jonna "
This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Jonna Michelle Begley. She was born in Corbin Kentucky on June 18, 1988 and passed away at 2:14 a.m. on Fri. September 23, 2005 at the age of 17 in a car accident. We will love and remember her forever.
Jonna was a senior at North Laurel High School in London Kentucky. She was a member of the award winning dance team, year book staff, FCA, and pep club.
She was member of Old Union Holliness Church in London, Ky. and a member of the Youth Choir.
Jonna was an angel here on earth and we know she is a beautiful one in heaven. Jonna touched so many lives and continues to do so even now that she is gone. Her legacy will live on through her family and friends. She is soooo deeply missed. We love her and we are so proud of the person she became. She is the GREATEST... We live for the day we can join her in that beautiful place called Heaven. We love you Baby Girl.
Jonna knew that before all things that Christ must come first in her life. She loved everyone. She greeted everyone with that beautiful vibrant smile. Many people's heart was warmed by this smile. This was shown by people the night of her wake. There were 4,000 people there. Her funeral was held in the North Laurel High Gym where approximately 2500 people attended. Jonna spent alot of her time in the gym practicing dance so we thought it would be appropriate to have it there. These are some of Jonna's favorite things.....
Food - Mexican and Beef fried rice Drink - Mountain Dew T,V, show - American Idol Song - Too many to mention Car - Mustang---- Jonna had a 2001 Z-24 Cavalier Hobby - Dance, sleep, and talk on the phone

The best moment: The feeling I had dancing my junior year at the North/South game, walkin out of the crowd, Andrea's Hip-Hop.

Saddest Moment: Mrs. Cupp resigned as dance team coach.

Proudest Moment: South game dance and nationals.
You are forever with us in our hearts, Jonna. We love you more than words could ever express. Thank you for the love you gave to us and the precious memories you left us with. You are the GREATEST and continue to be the most unforgettable. We love you our sweet angel.
In an effort to preserve the precious memory of Jonna and her ability to help others, we are doing a memorial scholarship. This will be an extension of Jonna's life and what she stood for during her amazing, but yet short life; helping others, treating everyone with respect, and mostly just giving love to all she met on her journey through life. In the true giving spirit of Jonna's giving heart; two scholarships will be given, one to a North Laurel senior where she, herself was to graduate this year and another to a South Laurel senior. Jonna has many friends at both schools.
